As The Bona Venture staff ushers in a new semester, the paper we produce each week features a new look. Despite our cosmetic change, however, our dedication to providing an accurate, reliable and interesting take on Bonaventure news remains the same.
We are an editorial staff made up of two seniors, 16 juniors and three sophomores, yet our mission this semester involves more than just the 21 BV editors in the staff box. We hope to expand our list of staff writers for every section. This will result in an array of new bylines bringing even fresher perspectives week after week.
We plan to be a more interactive media outlet on campus, especially in terms of social media, by giving budding student journalists the chance to live tweet (@bvsports) our Division I sports games. We begin our new semester with a revamped website (thebv.org) and a more active, up-to-date Twitter feed (@thebv) to allow for greater interactivity between The BV and its audience.
The Bona Venture hopes to continue providing the campus with a quality weekly paper written for Bonnies by Bonnies.
