St. Patrick’s Day is the one day (or, in our case, the one weekend) of the year when everyone thinks they are Irish and find it necessary to wear green. Many choose to wear green even though not everyone can rock this shamrock shade. It’s not a rule you have to wear green, and if you are afraid of getting pinched, suck it up because green is just not your color. But I digress. St. Paddy’s Day is a time to celebrate. Well, I’m not really sure what we’re celebrating, but we celebrate it anyway. Parades, metallic beads and the occasional Shamrock Shake prepare us for the only holiday in March. However, this year we have run into a problem. St. Patrick’s Day is on a Monday, and the most festive thing I can do on a Monday is eat Lucky Charms and watch the old Disney Channel movie, “Luck of the Irish.” But, this is Bonaventure and I know my fellow Bonnies will get creative. So break out your shamrock-shaped sunglasses and celebrate March 17 however your heart desires. And always remember, go Bona’s.
XOXO, Your Queen Bonnie
