On Feb. 6 and 7 the AMSOIL Championship Snocross will compete at the Seneca-Allegany Resort & Casino, in Salamaca, New York. Snowmobile riders from around the globe will compete in this event. Gear and apparel will be available for purchase. Buy your tickets at the Logo Shop onside the Seneca-Allegany Resort & Casino. Prices start at $25.

On Feb. 14, Pfeiffer Nature Center will be holding the Valentine’s Hike-n-Snowshoe, in which participants can hike the snow-covered forest from 10:00 a.m. to noon. You can bring your own snowshoes or rent some for $5. You must RSVP for this event by Feb. 12. Call 716-933-0187. You can also visit Pfeiffer Nature Center’s web site: Pfeiffernaturecenter.com.

A special Valentine’s Day menu will be featured at The Point Restaurant in Good Times of Olean. The reservation times are at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. After dinner, there will be music and dancing. The Usual Suspects, a rock ‘n’ roll band, will be preforming from 8 p.m. to midnight. They play a wide variety of genres, and cover music from Chicago to The Beatles.

On Feb. 14., Eli Young Band will be performing at the Seneca-Allegany Events Center at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $20. Eli Young started at the University of North Texas. Some of their hits include “Crazy Girl” and “Drunk Last Night.”

Restaurant Week 2015 has also begun. This week-long event started on Feb. 2 and goes through Feb 8. Organized by the Olean Chamber of Commerce, Restaurant Week 2015 will have at least 13 participating restaurants. Restaurant Week offers a three-course meal for only $20.15. For the restaurants with only a breakfast option, a $10.15 option is offered. The restaurants involved in the first Restaurant Week are: Angee’s Restaurant, Attard’s Restaurant, Broken Wing Pizzeria, Brother’s Bistro, The Chuck Wagon, Cow Palace, East End BBQ, Green Acres, Jordan’s, Mirchi, The Point, Randy’s Up the River and The Woods at Bear Creek.

These events will allow students at Bonaventure to take part in events away from  campus.
