Students and faculty members have reported seeing crews at the DeSoto Motel located less than a mile east from St. Bonaventure University campus. According to Cattaraugus County property records, 9154 Group, LLC owns the property.
A copy of the property’s transfer report lists William Paladino of Buffalo under its buyer contact information.
Paladino is the son of Carl Paladino, a Bonaventure graduate and former New York State gubernatorial candidate.
Carl Paladino is chairman of Ellicott Development, where William Paladino is CEO.
Town of Allegany officials and Ellicott Development could not be reached for comment by press time.
