St. Bonaventure University announced today Andrew Roth, Ph.D., will take over as interim university president beginning Aug. 1.
Roth will work through to summer 2017, when a full-time president will take over.
According to a press release sent to university members this morning, Roth was the president and CEO of Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio from 2003 to 2014, during which time the college saw its enrollment nearly triple, from 775 students to 2,270 students.
Roth also worked in various leadership roles at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pa. before he worked at Notre Dame College.
According to the release, Roth will help implement Bonaventure’s new strategic plan, which will be presented to the Board of Trustees next week.
