From remixes of modern trends to the revival of popular fashion from the Victorian era, stay on trend this fall by adding these four items to your wardrobe!
Oversized jackets
Oversized jackets have been loved by the fashion world for the past few seasons, but fashion icon Rihanna has sparked two of the latest trends surrounding the already popular oversized jacket. The star brought back the nostalgic oversized bubble jacket from the ‘90s, previously rocked by classic hip-hop artists such as Missy Elliot, and ignited the trend of wearing oversized jackets off the shoulder.
Velvet booties
Velvet is making a comeback this fall in a new form: booties. The stylishly daring item, which has been worn by Hollywood stars such as Kendall Jenner, are adorned in a multitude of modern features. From colorful embroidery, frills and printed heels to crystal clear panels, these booties are guaranteed to add the perfect amount of edge and texture to your fall outfits.
Corset belts
Hailing from the Victorian era, the corset belt has become the latest must-have accessory for the fall. The belt, recently being placed at the forefront of runways by designers such as Prada and Balmain, comes in a multitude of styles and fabrics from tough leather to delicate lace. It’s suitable for all outings whether formal or casual, cinching the waist to create the perfect silhouette.
Embroidered bombers
The possibilities for styling a bomber are endless, which makes it no surprise that it’s become a permanent wardrobe essential over the years. Bombers, which can be styled with both causal and formal ensembles, are in heavy demand for their newest feature: rose embroidery. Although the trend, which was initiated by Dolce & Gabbana, has become the center of men’s fashion in the recent weeks, with stars such as Drake and Nelly rocking the look, a host of fashion websites provide the decorated bombers for both men and women including Boohoo, ASOS and Urban Outfitters.
