Everyone can take a deep breath because we’ve finally made it to the end of the week. There is nothing like the anticipation of waiting until the final minutes of your last Friday class so you can start your weekend.

These days are all about cranking the music with your friends and forgetting all of your responsibilities (for now). Here are some song ideas to help put together your fun party playlist.

First, we’ll start off with recent songs that were just released in the past couple weeks. My favorite song at the moment is “Questions” by Chris Brown. If you remember the song “Turn Me On” by Kevin Lyttle, Chris Brown’s “Questions” has the same beat. This song just throws me back to when I was a kid, and it makes me want to get up and dance.

A couple other songs that are like this are “Unforgettable” by French Montana, the beat to this song just gets your hips moving, and is a kick start to a great night.

“Roll in Peace” by Kodak Black, “Beast Mode” by A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, “Rockstar” by Post Malone, “Mi Gente” by J Balvin and “Feels” by Calvin Harris are all the same type of music that is perfect for any great night. These are great for jamming with your friends.

If you are into the country vibes, my favorites at the moment are “When it Rains it Pours” by Luke Combs and “All the Pretty Girls” by Kenny Chesney. Country songs are good for when you want to pretend your dorm room is one of your favorite concert venues you attended over the summer.

With the warmer weather we have been having these past couple weeks, these songs are great for lawn parties, spending your afternoons at the quad and just laying out in the sun.

You can’t have a complete party playlist without bomb throwbacks that you can belt your heart out to and dance yourself into the weekend.

If you’ve been on Twitter lately, you probably have seen the video of Post Malone singing “Tongue Tied” by Group Love. Let’s just say I’m obsessed, and it was immediately added to the knockout track to my playlist.

“Your Love” by The Outfield, “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, “Jack and Diane” by John Mellencamp and “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond are the best sing-a-long songs.

Lastly, for all the single ladies out there, these songs are for you! “Sorry Not Sorry” by Demi Lovato talks about coming out looking like revenge and like a bad b****. It is the best song if you are feeling down because it boosts your confidence.

“Crying in the Club” by Camila Cabello is also great for giving someone who put you down an invisible middle finger. When you are in the middle of a party with your best friends and this song comes on, get out there and shake your buns.

These are some of the best songs to get your weekend nights going.
