American singer and songwriter, Pink, took the world by storm and started her claim to fame in the music world back in February 2000. Alecia Beth Moore, known as her stage name Pink, began her first tour on May 2, 2002 and did 56 shows during her tour which concluded on Dec. 18, 2002.
Since her first tour, Pink has done several others. Like many pop stars, Pink wanted to show her fans what life is really like on the road. The documentary, “All I Know So Far,” will follow Pink’s global tour, which began in early 2018 and concluded in November of the following year.
The documentary will include a mixture of “footage from the road, behind-the-scenes interviews and personal material,” according to a press release about the film.
During Pink’s “The Beautiful Trauma World Tour” she played more than 156 shows across 18 countries which was the tenth highest-grossing tour in Billboard’s Boxscore’s history.
The singers tour was an impressive spectacle with plenty of pyrotechnics and spectacular dance numbers. Pink also swung from a giant chandelier in a sparkly black bodysuit. One event from the tour that went viral was a heartfelt moment where Pink invited a 12-yearold fan to sing her 2010 song “Perfect” during her show in Vancouver, Canada. The singer was blown away by the fan’s amazing vocals.
Pink’s family gave fans a candid view into her real life as a mom on the road during the documentary by sharing photos of the portable playroom they set up for their kids Willow and Jameson. Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, and both of her children make appearances throughout the documentary.
The new Amazon original film is “Directed by the one and only Michael Gracey. Starring the cutest kids, made by me. I’m in there, too,” she wrote in her caption. The documentary is set to air on May 21.
Following in Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendes footsteps, Pink is the latest popstar to announce a documentary.
Pink has snagged 15 Grammy Award nominations and three wins for “Imagine,” “Trouble” and “Lady Marmalade.” She also has had 15 singles in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her most recent album “Hurts 2B Human” was her third consecutive album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Pink remains on her game after all these years, traversing pop, rock, R&B and electronic dance music with ease. She does all of this while performing awe inspiring acts for live audiences.
Along with her music career, Pink is an ambassador for UNICEF, the United Nations International Children’s Fund. She became an ambassador in 2015 after having her first child and felt inspired to give back to children all over the world.
People can watch Pink’s other tours on YouTube and Amazon while waiting for her documentary to come out in May.
