Netflix offers many movies and TV series for Halloween

Halloween is right around the corner and many people are looking for the perfect thing to watch to put them in the Halloween mood. Netflix has everything from movies to TV shows released all month long for your viewing pleasure.

“Escape the Undertaker” came out Oct. 5. The interactive film features WWE superstars and has the Undertaker setting up a trap for tag-team the New Day at his haunted house. Viewers ultimately help decide the fate of the three souls that are trying to survive the Undertaker’s wrath.
“Fever Dream” comes out on Oct. 13 and tells the haunting story of two broken souls, toxins, looming environmental and spiritual tragedy, and the bond shared between a parent and child. The movie is based on the novel by Samanta Schweblin.

“Night Teeth” coming out on Oct. 20 and is the story of a college student whose second job is as a chauffeur and has two women in his back seat that have bloodthirsty intentions for him. The film stars Debby Ryan, Megan Fox, Alfie Allen, Alexander Ludwig, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Lucy Fry, Raúl Castillo, Sydney Sweeney, Marlene Forte, Ash Santos, and Bryan Batt.

On Oct. 27, “Hypnotic” is set to be released. “Hypnotic” follows a young woman who is seeking self-improvement help. She ends up enlisting the help of a renowned hypnotherapist. But after a few intense sessions, she finds out there are some unexpected and deadly consequences.

“Nobody Sleeps In The Woods Tonight” came out last year and is about a group of teens who are addicted to technology and end up attending a rehabilitation camp in the forest. But, a sinister force in the forest intends to take them off the internet forever.

“Locke and Key” season two coming out on Oct. 22. The next installment in Netflix’s adaptation of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez’s comic series. The show’s first season did a great job of being an intriguing horror series on Netflix. This means the bar has been set for season two, but many viewers are confident that it will continue to pull in its audience based on its magical keys, creepy villains and interesting subplots.

“You” season three is coming out on Oct. 15 and it will feature the continuation of Joe Goldberg’s fraught relationship with Love, his girlfriend who is pregnant with his child in their new suburban home surrounded by tech entrepreneurs, mommy bloggers and biohackers.

If Halloween children’s movies are more your speed then “Scaredy Cats” which was released on Oct.1, could be the movie for you. The movie follows the story of Willa Ward’s twelfth birthday gift: a charm necklace from her witch mother. But, two bad witches are out to grab the necklace for themselves, so Willa enlists the help of her BFF’s Scout and Lily. They must learn how to use the necklace and figure out how to deal with being cats and save their beloved town.
