Erin Sadlack, the former chair of Marywood University’s Department of Communication, Language and Literature, has been named the dean for Bonaventure’s School of Arts and Sciences. She will begin working on July 1, according to a Notice Board announcement.

Guy Imhoff, the interim dean for the School of Arts and Sciences, will return to his role as associate dean in July, according to the announcement.

“As the landscape of higher education changes, it is all the more essential that we find new ways to articulate the value of a liberal arts education to new audiences and to meet the needs of our students,” Sadlack said in a university-wide statement. “My vision lies in creating innovative programs and developing close connections between the university and the community.”
