The St. Bonaventure Women’s team will kick off its Atlantic 10 conference play today, taking on the George Washington University Revolutionaries at the Mount Vernon Athletic Field in Washington, D.C.

The Bonnies sit at a 1-6-1 record going into the game. This matchup starts a 10-game run of in-conference matches for the team.

The Revolutionaries rank eleventh in shots taken per game in the Atlantic 10 Conference, with 75 shots taken through eight games. GW also ranks ninth within the conference in goals made, with 10 on the season.

This plays perfectly into Bonaventure’s hand, as the Bonnies rank third in the Atlantic 10 in saves throughout their first eight matches, with a save rate of .695%.

The Revolutionaries, coming off a 4-0 loss to North Carolina State University, look to bounce back against a conference opponent.

A young Bonnies team wants to earn their second win of the season to propel themselves into early conference playoff contention.

The match kicks off at 3 p.m. and can be streamed on ESPN+.
