Men’s Soccer Faces RMU in Non-Conference Clash Today

The St. Bonaventure men’s soccer team will host Robert Morris University in an out-of-conference clash this afternoon. 

RMU visits with a record of 3-2-2. The Colonials’ last game resulted in a 3-2-win Saturday evening to IU Indianapolis. 

The Colonials come into the matchup shooting 1.57 goals per game on 13.9 shots. Defensively, Robert Morris has given up 1.29 goals per game while allowing 10.1 shots per game.

Sophomore defenseman Tim Koczulap leads the Colonials with five points and is tied for the team lead in goals with two. 

Bonaventure enters the game with an overall 2-4-2 record, as it most recently tied Fordham University 0-0. The Bonas have scored .88 goals per game while giving up 1.88 a game. 

The Bonas average 11.8 shots a game, while giving up 12.6. Senior forward Andres Javitt is Bonaventure’s leading goal and point scorer with two goals and six total points.

The match kickoffs at 3 p.m. at the Tom ‘80 and Michelle Marra Athletics Field Complex. The game can be streamed on ESPN+.
