Current NBA Players that Played at the Reilly Center

Built in 1966, the Reilly Center has had numerous notable players, such as Bob Lanier and the Stith brothers, play on the court in the past. As for the present, the NBA is approaching the end of the regular season, and there are 12 current NBA players who played there.

T.J. McConnell- Duquesne (2012)

On Feb. 11, 2012, T.J. McConnell and the Duquesne Dukes traveled to St. Bonaventure. The Bonnies took down Duquesne 69-48. McConnell played 35 minutes and recorded eight points, five rebounds and six assists. McConnell just recorded his 700th career game in the NBA on April 2, and has recorded over 5300 career points in 10 seasons. 

Obi Toppin- Dayton (2019)

On Jan. 19, 2019, Bonaventure fell 89-86 in double overtime to Obi Toppin and the Dayton Flyers. Toppin recorded over 34 minutes of play, 10 points, three rebounds and two blocks. Toppin is currently playing on the Indiana Pacers and has averaged a career-high 10.6 points per game this season.  

Bones Hyland- VCU (2021)

The Rams fell to the Bonnies 70-54 on Jan. 20, 2021. Hyland tabbed 16 points, four rebounds and two steals in the contest. The 26th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft has appeared in 185+ NBA games and was named to the 2021-22 NBA All-Rookie Team. 

Tyler Kolek- George Mason (2021)

Tyler Kolek and George Mason fell 84-67 to the Bonnies in the Reilly Center on Jan. 30, 2021. The point guard recorded 17 points, three rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes of play. Kolek was selected in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers and has appeared in 40+ games this season. 

Toumani Camara- Dayton (2023)

Bonaventure defeated the Dayton Flyers 68-59 on Feb. 4, 2023. Camara recorded a game-high 17 rebounds and 12 points in 29 minutes of action. The power forward has appeared in 70+ games for the Trail Blazers this season averaging over 11 points an outing. 

Tyrese Martin- Rhode Island (2019)

The Rhode Island Rams defeated Bonaventure 81-75 on Jan. 25, 2020. Martin contributed 14 points, nine rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes of play. The Allentown, Pa. native has averaged over eight points per game for the Brooklyn Nets this season. 

Jeff Dowtin- Rhode Island (2017, 2019)

Dowtin’s two appearances at the Reilly Center both came as victories for Rhode Island. Over the course of the two contests, Dowtin recorded 13 points, nine assists, four steals and six rebounds. The 6-foot-3-inch guard has appeared in over 80 NBA games in the past three seasons for five teams. 

Jacob Toppin- Rhode Island (2019)

Toppin joined Martin and Dowtin in the 2019 victory over the Bonnies. Toppin recorded seven points and four rebounds in 22 minutes of play. Brother of Obi, Jacob, has appeared in 20+ games for the Knicks over the last two seasons. 

Vince Williams Jr.- VCU (2018, 2020, 2021)

Williams appeared in three games for the Rams in the Reilly Center. Throughout those three games, Williams tallied a total of 31 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. Williams has appeared in 90+ games in the NBA and averages nearly eight points an outing for the Grizzlies. 

Jamison Battle- George Washington (2019, 2020)

Battle appeared in two road losses for GWU versus the Bonnies. Battle contributed a total of 23 points and six rebounds in the two contests. In Battle’s rookie season for the Raptors, the small forward has appeared in 50+ games averaging over six points per night. 

 Jordan Miller- George Mason (2018, 2019, 2020)

In Miller’s three contests for the Patriots, the small forward averaged nearly 15 points and six rebounds per contest. The Anaheim, Ca. native has played in 40+ NBA games throughout the past two seasons for the Clippers.  

Jordan Goodwin- Saint Louis (2017, 2018)

In the two contests in the Reilly Center, Goodwin averaged nine points and nine rebounds. The 26-year-old is in his fourth season in the NBA and has averaged over 19 minutes per game with the Lakers this season. 

Not only has the Reilly Center been filled with NBA players of the past, but it also has players of the present.
