St. Bonaventure’s student-run campus newspaper since 1926, The Bona Venture, takes you inside the Bona Bubble like no other media outlet through its news, opinion, features and sports sections.
Whether it’s in print, on our website or via social media, The BV serves as a teaching and laboratory aid in journalism for all students while providing practical experience in citizenship and communications. It acts as the voice of the students, faculty, administration and other interested persons in the community.
At the same time, The BV strives to tell the stories you won’t find elsewhere. Our staff brings you inside life at St. Bonaventure, giving you open, honest and objective viewpoints. We are committed to fairness and accuracy, emulating the ethical journalistic values entrusted to us by this university.
Some may say newspapers are dying, but The BV is very much alive. We’ve been St. Bonaventure’s news leader since 1926, and we intend to keep that title.
As times change, so will The BV. However, we will continue to seek fresh ways to adapt to the ever-changing world and share innovative ideas while sticking to these fundamentals.
